Where is Fall?
Never ever, ever in my life have I been ready for summer to end but my god, this has been the hottest summer I have ever experienced in San Diego. And I am so sick of it.
I am sick of sundresses and exposed toes and top knots and even my beloved shorts.
I am sick of sweating while watching tv and dragging Gordita on her walks because she is overheating.
I am sick of showering daily {yep} and flies {but I do get great joy out of a fly masacre}.
Every blog in my reader is talking about pumpkin spiced lattes and sweaters and football. Well, the thought of all those things makes me want to puke {the lattes and sweaters because it is too damn hot and the football because, well, it's stupid}.
Fall, if you're out there I would love to see you again. I promise I won't complain that I am cold or wish for more daylight. I will happily wear layers of clothing and eat soup. Please hurry, ok?
