Quiet Weekend

This weekend was pretty quiet.  

My husband was out of town, so I took full advantage of the alone time and got a lot of work done. 

When Neil's around, he wants to spend time with me and I cannot just work non-stop. Weird, I know.

One of my favorite guilty pleasures is to work in front of the tv {especially when I have complete control of the remote} so imagine my joy when I found The Hills marathon on MTV.

After 15 hours of horrible pseudo-reality tv, I was mistaking my life for a reality tv show. I was also, obviously, a little brain dead.  I do not recommend a complete day of The Hills.  I COULD NOT STOP!  But, I did get a lot of work done, so there's that.

Oh, and I also watched every episode of Oprah's Next Chapter.  I kind of forgot that this show existed and was delighted to find six episodes on my DVR.  

Have you watched it?  The lady can interview {duh}.  My thoughts - I love Neil Patrick Harris more than ever and Kelsey Grammer surprised me.

Ok, I just spent ten minutes writing about TV.  Sorry :).

In other news, we got new windows in the kitchen but I am more excited by the old ones.

I have two projects in mind.  Crossing my fingers that despite my lack of proper tools {or a handy husband} at least one of them works.

Other than TV and working, I walked and played with my pups. 

Finn's paw is still pretty sore.  Thanks for all the advice on this post.  I have soaked it in epsom salt and sprayed it with the doggie anti-bacterial spray, but he is still limping and gets really mad at me when I try to wash it.  He even bit me and it left a welt on my arm.  That has never happened before so I assume it is really sensitive.  We might be at the vet on Tuesday :(.
